Brainsway Deep TMS

Leave depression behind and start anew with rTMS; a safe, non-invasive and highly effective treatment.

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (“rTMS”, or just “TMS”) stimulates the brain region responsible for depression and brings significant improvement to patients, including those who have tried several types of antidepressant medications without success. It is a safe outpatient procedure which does not require hospitalization or anesthesia, and entails no memory loss or systemic side effects.

Brainsway’s treatment for depression has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The treatment is convenient, requiring only 20-minute daily sessions over a period of 4-5 weeks. Brainsway’s advanced technology is based on patents filed by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).

In each session, the patient is comfortably seated on a chair, and a cushioned helmet is gently placed over  the head. The helmet generates brief magnetic fields, similar to those used in magnetic resonance imaging  (MRI) scanners. These magnetic fields briefly stimulate the targeted brain area and improve depressive  symptoms. After each session, you can return home independently, and follow through your normal daily routine.
